Safe and fair hand-overs
The trip is over, the bags are home, and now dozens of orders need to reach the right people. Hand-over is where mix-ups happen: a parcel given to the wrong cousin, an item someone says was missing, or a courier package with no proof of delivery. A short routine prevents nearly all of it.
Unpack and check before you announce
Open each customer’s items, check them against the order (item, quantity, variant, colour, size) and look for damage from the flight. Re-pack each order separately and label it with the buyer’s name and order number. If something is damaged or missing, tell the buyer now — not at meet-up.
Use a hand-over code
A simple 4-digit code stops items going to the wrong person, especially when someone sends a relative or rider to pick up. Share the code privately with the buyer and ask whoever collects to read it back before you release the bag. Pasabuy Tracker generates a code for every order and shows it on the Hand over screen.
Run a quick checklist
Before releasing an order, confirm three things:
- All items have been checked against the order.
- The balance is collected, or the payment receipt is attached.
- The person collecting has read back the hand-over code.
The app’s hand-over screen won’t mark an order delivered until the checklist is complete and the order is fully paid.
Take a delivery photo
Snap a photo of the packed order at hand-over, or of the parcel and waybill when you ship by courier. Add the courier tracking number if there is one. Pasabuy Tracker saves the photo and tracking code on the order, so you have proof if a buyer later says it never arrived.
Meet up safely
- Choose busy, public places such as mall entrances or MRT/LRT stations.
- Group nearby buyers into one meet-up schedule to save time.
- For cash balances, count the money in front of the buyer and record it immediately.
- Avoid carrying all orders at once if you can split meet-ups.
